Program Description:
This program will provide a review of surgical and nursing care issues for lower extremity joint arthroplasty. You will also discuss the total shoulder arthroplasty as treatment for musculoskeletal deficits and identify elements of multi-model pain treatment following orthopedic surgery. At the completion of the program, the learner will be able to discuss lower extremity arthroplasty and total shoulder arthroplasty, including care, possible complications and pain management.
