Program Description:
This program will help participants accurately and consistently prioritize emergency patients using a systematic approach. The participant will be able to describe the process of emergency triage, as well as the qualifications and roles of a triage nurse. The learner will be able to stratify patients into the five triage levels based on acuity and resources. And lastly, the learner will be able to predict resources required for those patients who can safely and more efficiently be seen in fast tract.
